Barovier&Toso represent one of the oldest family businesses in the world. The Barovier family already took advantage of the art of glassmaking in the 1200s. In 1978 the company 'Fratelli Barovier' was born in Venice. The company in 1926 merged with the Toso glassworks. It has become 'Barovier & Toso'. Each lamp embodies new and ancient. Innovation is always sought after and history preserved together with traditions. In addition to the still active furnace, Barovier and Toso exhibit most of the products of the exclusive Museum at Palazzo Contarini in Murano (VE).
