Flexform

Like many other craft workshops of the 1960s, the Galimberti brothers contributed to the exponential growth of the design furniture sector in northern Italy, particularly in the Brianza district. In the first showroom, which was opened on the street in 1959 and called "Flex Form," the Galimberti brothers sold handmade chairs and sofas that were after sold to the wealthiest families in Milan and Como.
 About ten years later, the sons transformed the laboratory into a real industry, and so, the Flexform company was born in 1967. Various collaborations with the Italian designers of the moment who studied in Milan (Joe Colombo, Cini Boeri, Antonio Citterio, and many others), brought the Flexform brand to the success we know today. The Flexform furniture is original and innovative, and it is produced with a sustainable ethic, putting the customer at the center of every project. For these reasons, the expansion to foreign markets is a brilliant and consolidated reality.
