Flos, which in Latin means 'flower' is a world leader in the field of design lighting. It was founded in Merano in 1962 with Dino Gavina and Cesare Cassina. Its mission is not only to illuminate the rooms but also to give a touch of design. What has distinguished Flos from the beginning is the courage and dare to put together materials unthinkable in the world of lighting. Among the most famous lamps is the Arco e Taccia lamp designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni. Philippe Starck and Antonio Citterio have also collaborated with Flos.
