Riva 1920 is an Italian company specialized in the production of wooden furnishing accessories. Founded by Nino Romano in 1920 in Cantù, in the heart of Brianza, it was initially a small family-run artisan workshop specializing in the production of classic style solid wood furniture. Over the years, the shop passed into the hands of the Riva family, and the small shop was converted into one of the largest Italian industries in the furnishing sector. The focus on sustainability and the use of unique woods, such as cedar and kauri, have made Riva 1920 a leading brand in the design furnishing sector. The focus on nature is demonstrated by the shapes and finishes that make iconic design pieces, such as the famous Molletta and the entire Briccole collection recognizable.
