In the heart of a historic building overlooking the city walls, AD Dal Pozzo signs an interior design project that blends classical echoes and contemporary vision. The intervention, led by architect Mattia Cudiferro, a professional from the AD Dal Pozzo team, stems from the need to transform compartmentalized rooms into open and functional spaces, in tune with the owners’ lifestyle. The opening of two structural openings made it possible to revolutionize the internal distribution, maintaining the value of the pre-existing spaces but introducing a new living fluidity.

An architectural gesture that revolutionizes spaces
The design fulcrum is translated into a sculptural wooden volume, conceived as a multifunctional architectural furniture. A structural block around which the entire layout revolves: on one side closet, on the other kitchen and cellar, depending on the spaces of use. The volume was custom-made thanks to the collaboration between AD Dal Pozzo and an artisan carpenter’s shop, in a perfect combination of aesthetics and functionality. The dialogue between materials of excellence is evident: the eucalyptus finish enhances the Venetian-style floor in the entrance and harmonizes with the parquet and stone island in the kitchen.

Complete and tailor-made restyling
In addition to redesigning the spaces, AD Dal Pozzo managed the entire technical-bureaucratic process and the complete renovation of the apartment, including fixtures, bathrooms and flooring. The original Venetian floor was preserved as a symbol of the historicity of the home, while wooden parquet flooring was selected for the most comfortable rooms. The lighting design, also taken care of in-house, helped to reinforce the material and volumetric reading of the space. The result is a tailor-made project that expresses AD Dal Pozzo’s integrated approach: a solid architectural identity, attentive to the context and capable of generating value through every design detail.
