A mountain chalet defined by the warm presence of wood. The main character in all the rooms, the natural material conveys a relaxing sensation of cosiness and represents a choice firmly rooted in the nature of the project site: the Pearl of the Dolomites. The AD Dal Pozzo team, led by interior designer Cinzia Boffo, combined modern luxury furnishings with the natural and intimate appeal of the environment surrounding this exclusive chalet in Cortina, Italy.

The chalet in the mountains meets luxury

The capacity for stylistic synthesis is emblematic of how AD Dal Pozzo works. The deep knowledge of materials and brands, combined with an accurate analysis of the location, met the client’s needs to create a unique residence, defined by the most refined design and maximum comfort. The interior designers were able to tailor-make a project to the client, who wanted exclusive materials for the rooms, including wood, leather and gilded metal.

The choice of finishes is enriched by astonishing shapes. In the brightest part of the living room, the light is attracted by the majestic lines of the stube and the indefinite contours of the long-haired fur covering armchairs in mongolia. The choice of circular chandeliers enlivens the ceiling marked by the magnificent linear beams. The result transcends the classic wooden houses in the mountains and defines a luxury chalet with attention to detail.

Bespoke furnishings for wooden mountain houses

Various elements evocative of the mountain landscape follow one another in the design: the aforementioned snow-white seats in mongolia, the chandelier reminiscent of the shape of deer antlers and the ever-present Finnish sauna. There is no shortage of custom-made furnishings in all the rooms: from the scenic lighting in the wellness area to the bathroom furniture and the custom kitchen and walk-in wardrobe clad entirely in wood. Furnishings with a contemporary style that acquire prominence in the combination with natural wood.
